Poly-L-lactic acid naturally stimulates the body to produce its own collagen. It works within the deep layers of the skin and as collagen is built, it provides a foundation that gradually restores the look of fullness by correcting skin creases, wrinkles, folds, scars as well as large volume corrections.

The process is the following:


  • A small amount of blood is taken from the patient to produce the hair follicle stimulating platelet-rich plasma (PRP)

  • The scalp is prepped with a thorough cleansing

  • Active PRP is injected via syringe and applied topically by a derma roller that provides local stimulation of the scalp

  • Derma roller creates microscopic channels that allow the PRP to penetrate deep into the skin on the scalp where it stimulates the growth of hair follicles and creates new blood vessels
